Melissa Del Ferraro, SHRM-SCP has specialized in the construction industry for 20+ years. After starting as an HR Generalist and HR Department of One, she worked her way up the HR ladder and is now Co-Owner of G. Sandoval Construction, a company with approximately 55 employees that specializes in residential and commercial construction. Melissa has held many SHRM volunteer roles throughout her HR career, including being the 2026-2027 Director of SHRM New Mexico and serving as President three times for the Southern New Mexico SHRM Chapter in the last 15 years. Melissa resides in Las Cruces, NM where she enjoys glittery cocktails while spending time with her 3 golden doodles, cocker spaniel Shelbee, husband Craig, and her two adoring sons, Trenton and Trevon.
