Michael McIntosh is the Office Managing Shareholder of the Virginia office of Littler, the world’s largest provider of management-side labor and employment legal services, as well as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Michael represents employers in connection with a wide variety of labor and employment issues—from helping to craft compliant employment policies, to conducting employment practice audits, to developing arbitration programs, to representing clients in various litigation and arbitration proceedings. Michael’s practice, however, focuses on complex wage and hour litigation in federal and state courts. He regularly represents clients in collective, class, and hybrid actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage and hour laws and has participated in numerous jury trials in federal courts across the country, including single-plaintiff, collective action, and DOL representative action trials, as well as in appellate proceedings in both federal and state courts. Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University. He is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia, and California bars.
